NOV 2011 - International SAT(19th)

Please dont discuss specific answers or quesyions till the embargo is lifted.

This is meant for 19th nov 2011 SAT which was postponed from 5th nov SAT. :)

when will the scores be out ?

Yeah, exactly, when are the scores gonna be out?

Scores will be out during the first week of December.

About the test I personally found it a bit harder than the normal tests, still there were a few questions repeated from the blue book. Hoping for a very lenient curve for the critical reading portions.

math was easy same for writing but critical the last section was so hard !!

Hoping for a very lenient curve overall lol. The entire exam was extremely challenging from beginning to end, especially Math.

what was the experimental section

The essay topic this time had quite a wide scope, too generalized.

I think the second last critical reading was the experimental since unlike the other section it did not have any questions that I could recognize. Note that My first section was CR.

Was this the same test as the normal November 2011 international SAT? (The one other countries got in the beginning of the month.)
And if not what’s the general consensus on how difficult it was?

It’s not the same, Jimmy.

@MSJahanzeb; you got CR experimental. That means the Writing section you have is the real one. Can you tell me what the ‘paragraph’ part of Writing was talking about? Was it about Egyptians building the pyramids and how difficult it was to do so, or was it about a kid who moved to college and loved board-games, but found it difficult to find someone who shared his love for it?

Well this is just a guess that the CR was experimental since the difficulty level of the questions was also a bit miss matched so it fits all the indicators. Yep I got the writing about the pyramids and I found it particularly easy.

Awesome! Good luck with your CR, I had it pretty bad too, so you’re not alone! :3

so can’t we discuss the questions !!!

Which ones the writing experimental???Someone plz help me here.I answered all the questions in one and left about 9 in the other one :O

the writing about egyptians is the real one .writing about board and online games (something like that ) is the experimental

Thanks for the info and I have officially screwed up my writing.

question on the math section… what’s the answer for time t and t/2 filling the tank in 12 hours? t=??

t = 36, suppapp.

1/t + 1/0.5t = 1/12

Therefore, t = 36

writing was experimental.
I reallllly messed up my essay :frowning:
CR and maths was okay though. The questions were easier than those in the princeton book.
Was 24 pi the answer of the question before the t/2 one.

I had 3 writing sections- section 2 and 6… and the 10 min one at the end. So one was experimental. Do you know which one was experimental?
