Both can't be correct, even though you're trying to be nice.
Just realized you meant you and the other person who put A...

I put A as well.

I put A as well.

Me and the other person who chose A, Feed. I'm not a complete imbecil! :P

I don't think it's A. The title of the graph specified an increase in growth in comparison to the control, so you don't need to display the control explicitly on the graph. You can't however, make a line graph out of categorical data, so B is right.

for those who took the ecology, who were the ones who did the experiment replicating pre-life earth conditions? I randumbly guessed darwin

Nooooooooooo.

i think hipster's right :(

what's a -6?

Indeed. I should have read the titles more carefully...

Sorry :( A -6 should be a 770-790 I believe.

Which is an outstanding score.
Alright, so don't sweat it.

Why are you sorry? I (surprisingly) ran out of time and didn't manage to go back to some of the questions i had marked.

sigh

is that a competitve score for someone hoping to major in pre-med studies/biochemistry at the ivies?

Anybody remember any other questions?
I'm pulling a complete blank right now.

Oh and stop intercepting my posts, IndiaRubber.

The pie chart for sure...it doesn't show plant growth in a practical way at all.. makes no sense...

How many could you get wrong and still get a 700+?

takioller its hard to say on the graph
the pie chart shows it in an unconventional manner, yet the line graph is just wrong in my opinion; you cannot create a line graph from data that is categorized like that... but then again stupid me talked myself into choosing the pie graph

i was hoping for more genetics/molecular questions than this test tested on

So hypothetically if I answered only 65 and got around 60 of those right, what would be my score?

you can do a line graph like that, I have some of that sort in my bio textbooks.. It isn't wrong....The pie chart on the other hand is used for "percentage" related things... this is about a change and it is completely wrong to use a pie chart

good stuff then!

Any more questions to go over?

Did you read the title?
It said "percent growth" or something along those lines... the pie chart made sense to me.

the pie chart didnt make sense to me because usually when you use a pie chart the entire pie(circle) means something entirely and the portions of the pie(slices) incorporate that whole entity, but in this case they are 4 different things entirely... so really what i mean is they 4 methods they used didnt represent 100% growth in a sense, instead it just compared the percentages of different methods
