I thought that was hard and I got an 800 on CR. :/

What's the curve like? I think I skipped 3 and I know I probably got 4-5 wrong. I'm really thinking of canceling my scores.

hmm dbacker1991 - i'm 90% sure that's what i put.

for the phone call question that is.

just remembered another one... Were Charlotte and that guy new acquaintances? that's what I put. And was she satirically mocking him or distancing herself from his complaints?

i put the same thing for the phone call one. i put only 1 and 2 for the dancing reasons question.

@dbacker1991
I said they were new acquaintances.
I don't recall that 2nd Q though.

lol, just remembered another one!

what did that passage mean about being NERVOUS!? I said it meant he had a poor constitution. It was between that and 'he didn't want to act foolish around Charlotte' or something...

bleh i said they were timid lovers... crap. how would you describe their conversations? i said a contest of witty remarks or something. i was guessing on these.

@ alicimoo

the Q asked what did Charlotte's responses to the guy's remarks reveal about her character? or something along those lines...

@jchang

Do you remember any other answers for that Q? I don't recall putting witty remarks because the guy seemed to be kind of a moron.

I also put they were timid lovers...

I put timid lovers. Subtle nuances throughout the conversation made me think they were lovers. Charlotte was trying to put on a front to impress the guy and the guy kept backtracking his remarks to impress Charlotte.

Or maybe I'm overanalyzing this, haha.

@jchang - I put witty remarks as well.

@dbacker1991 - I don't remember what I put for that question. If you remember the answer choices I might be able to pick out the one I put.
I also put "he didn't want to act foolish around Charlotte' or something"

I put recent acquantantices.. but I feel like that was wrong.. In the passage, Arthur's older brother was looking on at them w/ a smile on his face. Not sure what that meant..

And the call at the end for Hally and Willy's play was it put an end to their ideal world.

I thought the guy was trying to impress Charlotte, but what do you mean that Charlotte was trying to put on a front to impress the guy? She seemed to be disinterested at best...

@alicimoo

two choices were: she was satirically mocking him or distancing herself from his complaints

And wasn't it just the alcohol fizzing off Charlie's hand?

And wasn't it just a false act of indifference when he looked himself in the mirror, and then sat back down?

i thought recent acquatantices was right...cuz the guy seriously sounded like an idiot lol...but i am never sure

Holy toSheba Im a bit scared for this test.

-14 for 700? or -15

I put they were acquinatances. Arthur was talking about his likes/dislikes/weaknesses etc. and Charlotte didn't know much about him beforehand.

@dbacker1991 - eh...yea...no recollection what so ever. So I'm guessing I didn't one of those two? =/

@junshik - there was another question before that about why he was so shocked when he looked in the mirror. But for that question I put what you put about the false act of indifference.

The guy did sound like an idiot, that's why I thought the author was resentful towards him (like Mr. Collins in Pride and Prejudice) and I put that the girl was trying to distance herself, since she wasn't being especially satirical in her dialogue per se.
