November 2012 International SAT1 Discussion Thread

What was the real writing questions? I had 2 35Q writing sections. Was the one about UN delegate and the coffee one experimental?

@aspqr I also chose instructions…

ohh so no one picked irrespnsibilities then:( and self-deprecating was RIGHT??

LOL I also put irresponsiblities but chose the one saying criticizing the radical students

Were the Monkey and the UN questions included your writing sections?

@yjh6543 - I have the same question. Are you sure all those answers are correct? Or are they just what you put?

I had only 1 35question writing section.
I had a reading dummy… So anyone else had a passage about evaluation of art?
And what’s the answer for #10 in the last writing section? It was something like ‘new school system would not save money, nor would it…’

Did anyone have an experimental writing section?
I got the art evaluation passage…it wasn’t experimental, was it?

Art evaluation passage was an experimental section also in the October test…
I’m not sure about this time

Any chances of the alternative medicine passage being in the experimental section? Because I completely messed it up.

@Numzilla I got an experimental section on writing but I am not sure which one is experimental. I hope the coffee house one is the real test…

I got the coffee house passage too! Was it in the same section as the art evaluation passage? I’m so confused. I hope it was the real one too!

for ppl w/ testbook serial number XXXX68, you got a writing dummy
ppl w/testbook serial number XXXX69 got a reading dummy
the writing dummy is the section with 35questions that did NOT have the coffeehouse passage
the reading dummy was the literary critic, Cather bla bla

I don’t want to be a jerk, but I think it’s a bit too soon to discuss it. A lot of countries did not pass the test yet.

Even the most avid mp3 player listeners are heeding the warning to protect their hearing with using low volume setting…

Is there an error here?

^shudve been “by” that was an idiom.

i dont rmb these answer choices. are they correct?
“The studio was unlike her neighborhood”
“The peasants were self-deprecating humor to criticize a position” <- i picked the answer choice saying smth like there is actually not that much difference (or doesn’t matter) in positions/statuses

“By age [50], he was blah blah blah…”

this was correct yes? or should it have been “By the age of [50]”
maybe it was experimental. coffeehouse not experimental confirmed? not the asian american passage?

what about the UN delegate one??

is the un delegate one about the asian americans and the guy called Woo?
and are we allowed to discuss?

oh I remembered… the Woo guy was from experimental section
