November 2012 International SAT1 Discussion Thread

what were the questions about for the answers with 48?

Can’t remember :S
But I’m pretty sure there’s 2 48’s
About the vandelisim I’ve done it like that and I am not sure of my answer /:
Anyone ?

Wisnehf, it was ignorance.
What questions were there for the art passage? Why have I suddenly forgotten everything?!

Hey guys so the graffiti one with the wolves was experimental?

Also what was the writing q about some puppeteer performing for the UN delegates??

I really hate the fact that the easiest section was the experimental one (writing). Math was relatively hard, compared to the previous SAT’s (June, October, and especially November).

Can anyone who had writing experimental tell me what Section 3’s improving paragraph passage was about? Was it about coffeehouse or the Woo stuff? I did well in Section 3 but am not sure about another one that was around Section 7…

the writing section about the coffee is NOT the experimental one

I had writing experimental (I think it was woo) AND I had the wolves/graffiti one

does any of u guys remember a writing q about the united nations delegates?
is delegates FOR the UN correct?

I chose “will present” or something like that cuz later in the sentence it said “earlier this year” so I thought it was past tense

Was the experimental writing section Section 3 or 7?

I also chose “will present” as it should be in past tense…

Does anyone know the answer to the 5/44 or 5/45 one for sure, two before before this post said they think it’s 5/44. I just want to be sure if I got that one wrong, I did 5/45 (or was it 45/5, can’t seem to remember)

Also the ages of that had a chart with different ranges. For the second one I did 5…and for the 3rd one (the one with the graphs) I picked the E (I’m pretty sure that is wrong because someone told me it wasn’t from 0 years onwards, i thought it would be E because of the curve from 0-4 years quadratic equation. Confirmation would be nice though)

^5/44 is the correct answer. There was a pattern… Age was 28. Second one was 5. Third was D I think. It started out with steep constant slope, and end with a flatter constant slope. You mistakenly read the question. It asked for age 11 and above, not starting from 0-4…

For the age with percentages in grid in, I think I got 2000.

^ I had exactly the same answers

Which reading was experimental?! I’m confused…

^ Amy2525, glad to hear. Can you help me clarify whether section 3 or 7 was coffeemaker since you seem to have had writing experimental? I am a little bit worried about it.

^art evaluation

Vandalism, Chinese writing, and Ballet are not experimental for reading. Any other will be experimental.

Did anyone have a writing question like “As many of the advances in research…”? I chose many because I thought advances in research can’t be counted.

@over2100
the only writing section that I had was section 2 or 3 and was about coffee
