****November 2013 SAT Thread***

@chanster- were those on this VERSION? the one with the passage about Mars? I don’t remember those, but my memory is fading.

What was the answer to the hot dog question in the grid in?

I think I got 2.25 or 1.25 I can’t remember exactly

@Aguy33 What was the hot dog question asking? I don’t remember that one.

I said 3rd as well

do you guys remember the answer to the CR question about cradle-birth and cradle-death? it was on the green chemistry passage

Anyone remember a question on the math with something about what does’t equal -a/-b ? If so do you remember what you got?

It’s ‘you practice’

@RVLVRR it was like if three hot dogs and two drinks are 9.25 and two hotdogs and one drink are 5.75 then what is the value of one hot dog? And what was the answer to the last grid in? I guessed 2

The hot dog was 2.25, and the last grid in was 4000.

hi everybody. can someone pls tell me what math or writing section was experimental on november international 2013 sat and give some examples on each section so i could remember if i had it. thanks!

November international SAT curve? Any guesses?

@levlevlev11 how did you work the 4000 problem, I had no clue I think that’s the only one I missed

Hi,
International here, gave the November SAT. Does anyone know what the curve will be like? I’m pretty sure I messed up 1 or maybe even 2 in the math section. :/

I got 4 wrong and three skipped in math how much do you think I will get ?

Satworried

The experimental section was the second Writing with the paragraph improvement on terriers, if you had 3 writing sections.

According to the released curves said to be similar to the June 2012 int’l curve, your math score should be around 660 for raw score -8.
It’s a bit more difficult to determine for -1 or -2 but usually the score is 770~740.
That is, as long as this curve doesn’t deviate much from the average, so I’m speaking in general terms.
12 days left.

@Audrae I rem I was stuck on that question for a while. I think I put that its more simpler or something? not sure. Do you know the other answer choices?

Edit - math scores for 2011 included 780 and 760, so apparently generous for the test. Who knows.

Thanks astoria7 btw I only got 4 wrong and 3 skipped so is it considered -8 ? And wont I have a chancw of getting 720 and higher ? Cuz I rly need it . Thanks again !

@satworried with 4 wrong and 3 skipped you’ll get anywhere from a 660-680 so that 720 probably won’t happen :(
