@ambitionsquared honestly can’t tell. I’m most nervous about Writing. That was my first section, and I usually do fairly well on Writing MC (getting 1-2 wrong at most), but it really threw me off. I don’t feel confident about that section at all.
Based on past SAT curves and the discussions from this thread my predicted curve is:
-4: 760 Reading (4 wrong, medium)
-1: 800 math (hard test, 1 wrong)
-4: 740-750 Writing (hard test, much harder than March where -6 and an 11 essay was a 730)
@mrmaster198 That’d be an amazing curve, but I can’t imagine math will ever have a -1 800 again.
Anyone remember the last question on the physics passage?
Yeah I guess. I know -1 Math will at least be a 770 which is good. Although people are saying that this math was really hard and if you look at past SAT curves on PrepScholar some of the hard math sections have a curve of -1.

@questionasker123 Huh… I calculated it as five wrong with a harsher curve. If someone says “-5” I assume five wrongs. People shouldn’t omit so I don’t see why I should assume that they did
@Crzcorgi people shouldn’t omit? Why? If you can’t narrow it down to at least three, why take a random guess when you can just skip it and not have to worry about losing a point? I mean, sure it is stupid to omit more than 1 or 2, but it is useful for those, I believe.
What do ya’ll think -3 on the raw score in math will give? based off past tests…
@pentanyc Generally, a -3 would be in the low 700s, but it might be a bit higher due to the (hopefully) more lenient nature of this curve.

@krauser126 for the october I got 9 wrong and scored a 650 so it seems pretty accurate but who knows maybe the curve will be different!! (fingers crossed)

And what did you guys say for that grammar question with the phrase “much of”? I forget the whole sentence, but I vaguely remember that it had to do with scientists.
