@krauser126 You should wait till you see your score and then study for January if you need to. That’s what I’m gonna do. Not too long till scores come out!
It sucks because the January test date is on the 25th or something, well past the deadlines for most RD admissions. I also contemplated redoing the test, but at this point it won’t be worth it for me. I’ll just have to kic butt on the subject tests next month.
Can someone predict my scores
-4 Cr
-8 Writing
-4 Math 3 Omitted
@ambitionsquared No, your score will not get deleted! Lol, I didn’t even answer any of the questions in the experimental section xD
@rglizzy Hmmm I would say 750 CR, 650 Writing (assuming a 10 essay), 680 Math… So overall around 2100!
Can someone predict my score as well?
-8 CR
-1 Math
-5 Writing (11 for Essay)
Nine days, guys!
Are we allowed to setup a groupme or something and chat on that? It’s the equivalence of this but more instant I guess.
I’m not sure how we would coordinate it, but I’m up for it.
Also, I’m going to leave this here - it’s my chances thread. If any of you are bored, I’d love to hear some feedback. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1830636-180-days-to-go-so-help-me-stay-sane-by-predicting-my-chances.html
I can add you to the groupme just send me your phone numbers ^^ whoever is interested PM me!
Ahhh, so is GroupMe what Americans are using these days? Just out of curiosity, has there ever been a WhatsApp phase? That app is so popular in other countries, but I guess it’s slightly redundant in the US since most plans include unlimited texting and calling throughout national territory.
My dad and some of his friends use WhatsApp and Viper to talk to his friends out of the country but I nor any of my friends use either. It’s pretty much group message on iMessage, Skype, or kik. (I actually don’t know anything about groupMe)
GroupMe is what is really popular around here (midwestern US). But yes, it’s actually seen as weird if you use whatsapp or something similar, as it is also seen as weird if your plan doesn’t have at least unlimited texting. Skype is more common just because of the video chat component.
Groupme is basically iMessage or any other instant messaging medium you’d find on your basic smartphone (such as facebook or built-in messaging) but it’s with a group of people so many people are chatting together. You should try it out @AGoodFloridian and @IneffableMind I remember getting it last April to study for an AP with a group I found on CC and we still talk on it to this day and are still close friends even though were from different states (two of them actually happened to be in my state and we ended up hanging out at the mall once xD).
I second that. It’s more intuitive than other messaging apps, I think. I use it for a summer camp group, our yearbook staff, my golf team, chemistry project group, etc.
WhatsApp isn’t as popular in the US as it is in other parts of the world because its main selling factor becomes obsolete there: free messaging. However, in a LOT of other countires, such as South Africa, Brazil, India, and in a lot of European Countires too, WhatsApp is by far the most used messaging service, and is generally present in every smartphone you’d see. But yeah, I was kinda shocked too when I heard my cousin in the States tell me that very few people there used WhatsApp.
We might need a GroupMe support group when the SAT scores come out for everyone who did not reach their goal.
Feel free to join the one that’s already created. I’m thinking I may need the support.
Can you add me? @peytonmg
