<p>It depends what classes you have. Since you’re a physics/engineering major, you shouldn’t have any trouble at all. It took me 12 minutes to walk from Heldenfels to Zachery. You can always bike too, but I think your classes will all be in two or three buildings…</p>
<p>aGGieENGiNeeR, what are you using to find the class dates/times? My son was using the pickAProf (has a new name now), but is that accurate? Is there somewhere on an A&M website where you can see the section days/times?</p>
<p>Pick-a-prof is very accurate with the class times, but you can also see them by going to howdy.tamu.edu, logging in, and then clicking on the “My Record” tab and finally clicking on “Schedule of Classes.”</p>
<p>And yes 20 minutes in between classes is plenty of time as long as they are mainly all on the east side of campus (which all engineering classes should be). If you have to go across the whole campus to go to an elective or something, 20 minutes might not be enough.</p>
<p>Use the howdy portal method like Reveille just mentioned. Sometimes the prof for the class is not listed, but the times are accurate. Now I am asking myself what the chances are of me getting all the exact classes I chose. I don’t want to have to change this schedule I made much. If the process goes well, I should be able to log on to howdy at the NSC and register in a very very short amount of time.</p>
<p>yeah i would definitely urge everyone to make a schedule before attending the NSC because it is very hard to make one if you want to attend all of the conference activities</p>
<p>Definitely look at the available number of seats in the class in the Howdy portal. If there’s not very many, try to make that class the first one you sign up for, because seats will go fast. And I know I went in with a couple options, but ended up with NONE of the classes I had planned. But it’s different for everyone. Good luck!</p>
<p>Nuclear engineering begins registerig at 12:50, 10 minutes before the others begin thinking about signing up. Yay for a small department. Only 9 people in nukeE at this nsc too.</p>
<p>I made some sample schedules right before I left my house to go to NSC. Then the night before it was time to register I checked those sample schedules from my hotel, thank goodness for free wi-fi and my lap top, and none of those schedules were going to work any more. So I came up w/some new ones that night in the hotel and my first choice worked when I actually registered. Be at a pc and logged in and ready to start entering the course numbers at your designated time to register.</p>

<p>I think that C stands for closed, SR stands for seats remaining.</p>
<p>The column “select” is where you will click and choose your classes. C = closed
SR = Seats remaining. Most likely, you can’t register yet.</p>
