How long do I have to go to school to become a nurse anesthetist, do I have to go to med school? Right after high school I’m enlisting into the United States Air Force would this be a degree I would be able to get while serving?
Unless the US air force has a nursing program, there is no degree that will get to your desired endpoint.

You don’t need an MD to be a nurse anesthetist. It’s a masters program.
You need to get a nursing BS, then work in ICU for 2-3 years minimum, then apply. By the time you complete these requirement, the anesthetist program will require a PHD degree.
That’s my dd plan to do. With such a long road, I wish she had chosen MD.
