Nursing and Community College. HELP!

Hi. My question would be that...well I'm transferring to Bergen community college in Paramus to raise my gpa. And I don't know if I'm going to get into their nursing program. So if I don't get into it...would that mean it would be 1 yr of general ed courses...then 2 more years there if I get into their nursing program? And after I complete the nursing program there..then when I transfer to a 4 yr college...how would the coursework be? Would I have to take a lot of nursing classes my junior year? My family would like me to transfer to Rutgers afterwards, but im not sure. Any additional information on this subject will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’m not sure if it’s the same where you are, but up here, people usually take 2 years of pre-req classes at community college then transfer to the 4 year nursing school. Or they can get a 4 year degree then go to the nursing program.

you’ll probably get the most accurate answers by calling them. I’m guessing the odds of someone familiar with the program reading this forum regularly is about zero.
