Hey so I have been admitted to UW for fall 2013. I would like to pursue their nursing program, but from my research, it seems like it is almost impossible for regular undergrads to get in and that a lot of the students are mature/experienced. Does anyone have any experience with the program? I have yet to find a post about it by a normal undergrad and that worries me slightly as it is such a good school! Thanks!

What does “regular” undergrads mean? I have a few friends who were all admitted into the nursing program and I think they’re pretty “average” as people.

Like kids aged 18-22. It seems like a lot of the people in the program were older and had worked as something else or had kids and stuff. It said that most applicants had around 1500 hours of clinical experience, and that sounded like it would be impossible to get unless you were already working at a hospital or something. Sorry if that was confusing!
