Hello! U of Washington's nursing school is the #1 in the nation and the selection is very competitive. For those who have gotten accepted for nursing (BSN), can you please give me your stats? (SAT/ACT scores, class rankings, GPA, extracurricular activities, etc). And if you may, throw in any advice that might be helpful. Thanks!

You need to complete 90 credits before applying to the nursing program, so people could have mediocre SAT/ACT scores/class rank/gpa and still get in. It’s very, very highly competitive.

I suggest you join prehealth student organizations, volunteer at local hospitals, do some research, etc.

Thank you so much :)

From what I heard only 2 sophomores (aka regular applicants) got in this year. The rest were post-baccs and older people who were working and came back for a degree.

If that’s true, then it is extremely difficult to get in.
