so i'm applying to penn for the RD round and i've been interested in the nursing school at penn. i've been wanting to become a physician for awhile now, but it keeps fluctuating between nursing and becoming a doctor. so here's my question. if i apply to the school of nursing.. then realize i actually wanna apply to med schools, then would the school or nursing prepare me to have the credentials for a med school?

No. While some credits are applicable, it would seem (from what I’ve read) that you would need at least a complete 5th year and perhaps more to pick up the additional credits needed to apply to med school.

yeah i just found some stuff online about this. thank you!

can you post a link to what you found online? im in the exact same situation as you

why nursing?..just take bio or something

i think it’s easier to get into nursing than the college. am i wrong?

Good luck moving from nursing into one of the other Penn Colleges. They only have about 120 slots and they are not going to let people back door the admissions process.
