Anyone take the US History regents this time? If u did...what;d you put for the Bush Gore election ? and the very last ? about which agency controls interest rates?

i put the governor of florida ... but the answer is supreme court ... and the very last i had no clue i just guessed - what did u put

I put Federal Reserve System...i really had no idea though. All of my friends put different answers. One out the Securities and Exchange Commision and another put FDIC (although i think this only had to do w/ bank insurance)

i think i might have put federal reserve system also ... one was chamber of commerce i think

really it was high entropy? dammit. i put low E,Low entropy also

and yeah i put 12 mol of electrons also, since it gets a +2 charge (as opposed to +1, where it would be 6 mol electrons instead)

damnn.. i put low entropy/low energy- i wasn't sure about that

and i also put 12.. also, why was there both 1 molecule of n2 (i think it was) and co2?

For that question i put because they were both gases with the same volume under the same temperature and pressure...i think they must've accepted that because i got a 98 and i got the entropy ? wrong

guys i found out i got 94 on chem... yay?

they changed the math B curve

I'm really happy I didn't have to take the US Regents, I qualified for an expemption on the basis of my 780 US History SAT II score. I'm going to graduate from a New York public high school with only 4 Regents tests (Math A - 91, English - 94, Living Eviroment - 89, World History - 96)

that's pretty cool.. is that some kind of policy?

is that really something to be proud of?.. it's not like they are really hard to take or anything. I think I'll have 11 (Math A, Math B, Earth Science, Living Environment, Chemistry, Physics twice, Global History, US History, English, and Spanish)

It was definately Federal Reserve system; the whole monetary policy thing.

I think I actually guessed that one right. The Bush one I got wrong.. just a stupid mistake.

I got a 86 on Us hist. I failed math b tho

It's just nice. http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/osa/hsinfogen/List%20of%20Approved%20Alternative%20Exams%20Updated.pdf

That is a list of the requirements to get exempted from the Regents. However if your score counts for your grade (which it did not for me in US History) your school may force you to take the exam.

in my school this year only one person got 100 on Math B. last year when I took it, 3 people did (I was one of them.. go me)

supposedly there was one problem that this year's class was not taught very well about or w/e

This test was so hard plus I didn't learn or study anything on the test

DmctNY8- Thanks..I never knew about that..

I'm not sure how someone can be exempt based on their AP score because it doesn't come out until July, unless of course, they self-studied it and took it earlier.

I have a question: For the thematic essay section of the history regents, are you forced to only write one idea when it said "Discuss one..."?

Thanks.
