Transfer admission is based on if current NYU students drop out? Or do they have space designated for transfers
I think both not sure tho like they said we didn’t have enough space in the email and all the other stuff that they always copy and paste but that’s a good question @collegeJerome
I don’t think silver school is that competitive dw u got this you’ll get in @collegeJerome
I kinda knew the instant I applied to cas that I have very little chance of gettin in cuz it’s so hard to get in
Thanks I hope so. But whatever happeneds is meant to be
How do we find out who our officer is?
I think it’s based off of the region where you live. http://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/questions/admissions-counselors.html
Thanks!
To anyone that has been accepted, when you go under application status on Albert does it say you have been accepted? Just curious if it still lists all of the things like transcripts and stuff that you’ve submitted for your application
I’m really sorry to hear you didn’t get in. I hope everything works out for you. Honestly a lot of under qualified people are accepted and many qualified rejected. College admissions are really a game of chance now but one day all of your hard work will pay off!
a different admissions officer answered my email…that’s weird. she also answered it just now at 11 pm… maybe their working hard for the next wave of admissions to come out tom!
Ahh that’s weird. I’m so nervous. Is your admissions officer from your region? Bc mine isn’t
my admission officer was from my region- ny and answered my email back in october , but a different girl answered my email from monday and she’s from a totally different region.
do u guys think well get more decisions tom? maybe the pattern this year is monday friday
@collegeJerome Wait… the admission’s office is open tomorrow? Isn’t tomorrow still Thanksgiving break for them? If they’re open, I need to call them about something.
not sure if their open, i’d assume they’d be working since to get decisions in order for early decision candidates too…but an admissions officer answered my email tn if that helps.
Interesting. Maybe you get an officer from your region and another one bc I’m sure applications are reviewed by at least two people. I think they might send decisions out even though the school is technically closed since there isn’t much time left before the new semester but who knows
has anyone checked previous year threads if they released around this time/ thanksgiving break?
Yeah last year someone said they got into CAS on 11/25 I’m so nervous right now I can’t sleep
Then again a lot of people didn’t hear until the end of December so really who knows
