On their website it says if you don’t pay by the 12th then will unenroll you
If you don’t pay by the 12th they unenroll you?? I haven’t even registered for classes!!!
Anyone wanna guess when we’ll find out our housing?? I know before the 10th but the sooner the better
Well if you haven’t registered you haven’t been charged for tuition at least so I don’t think anything will happen to you. If you have housing though you may have to pay now. I’m not sure though
I didn’t get any outside scholarships, but NYU gave me 5k! Still hella expensive though. At this point, I’m committed and going to deal with the loan debt
I got my financial aid package today. Does anyone know how I can accept the Federal Perkins loan, the work-study, the subsidized and unsubsidized loan, and the federal plus 1 loan? Because next to the Pell Grant and CAS scholarship, the accept boxes are already ticked, but how do I accept the rest? Sorry for my question with an obvious answer, but idk.
Nevermind. Figured it out.
Do you guys think you might want to study abroad? I’m asking this question because NYU has such an amazing study abroad program. If I choose to study abroad, I’m not sure how I would fit it into my schedule. I guess I can do it over one of the summers.
^ Yes!
still no financial aid package. is anyone in the same boat as me? I can register but the econ department is reviewing my credits, so im not going to register until i know which classes i really need to take.
I’m studying abroad in Paris this summer! It’s hard for me to fit it in especially as an Econ major but NYU is the school to study abroad! And I’m going to get two semesters of language done in the summer so it’s really helping me get my requirements done!
Just a heads up you guys can waive your student health insurance. The deadline is February 10th
Yeah waiving the student health insurance takes about $1600 off your tuition bill (highly recommend). And @nyu7896 did you already apply to study abroad?? That is so cool!
I’m going to apply once I’m registered for my classes but my advisor said everything should be good! He said all transfers are definitely encouraged to study abroad if they can @xoxopo
I called housing and they said if you need to move in early for a mandatory orientation, you should ask your advisor to contact someone from housing then they’ll put you on the list. And I planned on doing study abroad over the summer but my advisor said nursing majors can’t do it during the summer. So I’ll probably end up doing it next spring I guess.
I’m moving in on the 16th
@nyu7896 How exactly do you waive your student insurance? Sorry…
Does the $35,000 include the housing and the meal plan? Or are those separate?
Just google NYU waive insurance and you have to fill out a form and provide your insurance information.
That includes housing but not the meal plan. You choose if you want to add the meal plan.
do i have to set up a meal plan if I’m not dorming?
