NYU CAS Econ Transfer

Hello Everyone,

I am currently attending California CC.

My College GPA is 3.7x

Not taken SAT.

I completed Two English Requirements with grade of an "A".

Also completed Calculus 1 - "A" and 2 - "B".

Also both Micro and Macroecon with grades of "B" and "A"

I will apply for the Financial aid.

Do you think I have a chance to get in NYU?

Thank you for reading guys!

If you need financial aid, no. You may get in but you won’t get financial aid, which is called “admit/deny”.
Why do you want to apply to NYU from California? Why not California schools? With these grades, you’d have a very good shot at a UC and definitely at a CSU. Depending on how much FA you need, you could also apply to less selective private colleges.

Thank you for your time reading and writing comment!! I always want it to join private schools and NYU is my first choice. I will definitely apply to USC too, and do you think i have a chance to USC as well?

NYU is not the only private school in the big city, not even in New York City!
USC is as selective as NYU but its financial aid for a CA community College transfer will be much better.

Thank you :)
