NYU Class of 2017 Waitlist

Is anyone here a NYU HEOP waitlist?

@daday123

How ironic, we both posted something about heop in a matter of 2 minutes lol  Im a heop waitlist, how about you?

To answer your questions, no I am not a NYU HEOP waitlistee… I’m an international student. I got my decision through email.

Also I don’t know if this actually means anything but my NYU albert page was changed 2 days ago; I had ‘2014: Award Access not Available’ pop up.

@blahek2 - It definitely means something. Wish you all the best.

I’m hoping to get my decision email tomorrow then… since my status changed yesterday.

@GrapeIsGreat - Wish you the best of luck, do keep us posted so hopefully we can also receive some sort of ease at heart.

[Wait List Update II ? And Information For Transfer Applicants As Well | NYU Admissions Blog](<a href=“MEET NYU - Home”>MEET NYU - Home) this was posted today…

Apparently they’re still most likely going to admit a few dozen more students in the coming weeks.

Congratulations to all those who were accepted today! To those who weren’t, there’s still hope!

Also question: What happens in regards to housing? Are we still guaranteed housing? And the dorm options when I submitted everything today were mostly sophomore and upperclassmen housing…

I received the email about my inquiring my interest in NYU still except for gallatin, a different school from my original choice. I replied that i was interested and would enroll. On Albert they changed stern to gallatin and i also received the “2014 financial aid not available” update. I did not receive an email saying I am off the waitlist today like the rest did so could get it tomorrow? Or does the above not mean anything

I got the email regarding my interest and asking if I would enroll. However, I obviously noticed the blog and people getting in. Is there any hope for people to get in or is this the end. Also, does anyone know the time frame or if they will let us know either way?

can someone who has not gotten the “interest” email and had “2014 financial aid not available” added post? I want to know if is generic or specific to individuals. Im hoping it actual means something. I originally applied to stern also and they changed it to gallatin, which in the interest email i told them i would enroll. I dont see why they would go through the trouble

I think almost everyone in this thread received the interest email, but I am not sure.

So if we haven’t been notified today does that mean we didn’t make this round?

And also for those of you who recieved the email, did you reply just saying that you’re still interested or did you extend on it and wrote like a paragraph?

All I said was “im still interested and I would go if accepted”
Could this have been a factor? Like did we have to sound earnest and enthusiastic…?

can you guys check albert and see if for financial aid it says “2014 fin aid not available” because that recently changed in mine so i want to see if its generic along with the interest email

Charles1994 yeah mine changed.

When did your financial aid change? Mine didn’t as far as I know. It doesn’t say anything about 2014.

@GrapeIsGreat I wrote 2-3 paragraphs in my reply email in respond to the ‘interest’ email. I also attached a document about ‘what I did over the past month’.

@clemston when you log on to albert and click on financial aid does it say “2014 financial aid not available” because before for me it didnt say that
