did you already submit your waitlist form? Is earlier better? How did u write your letter to the admissions committee…

I already submitted mine. I’m not sure if it really matters when you submit it but if it does matter I’d assume it would be better to submit it earlier because perhaps that shows more of an interest in the school and also puts you on their actual wait list first. But, again, I’m not sure how much of an effect it actually has. I had to do two letters: one about which school(s) I wanted to be considered for and why and one about any accomplishments since the time I submitted my application. For the one about the schools I just talked about how I feel Tisch would be the best choice for my career path but I would also like to consider CAS as a second option and then for the one about any of my accomplishments I just included that I have remained on Honor Roll (because it shows that I have not gotten lazy and careless with my grades), that I got an award for my community service, and that I have since been extremely involved in my school’s theatre program in which I have played an important role in the success of two productions. For both of these letters I didn’t write more than a few sentences because I did not feel any more was necessary but even though both the letters are optional I feel it is best to write at least something for both (better safe than sorry).
