*****NYU Early Decision 2 Class of 2020 Discussion*****

I also don’t have the event calendar anymore and my housing is showing as Non-Renewable Undergraduate. I think this it for us guys.

3 hours ago even my events calendar said NYU Eligibility Opportunity Interview on February 17th, however now there are no events :expressionless:
But I STILL have the housing change! What is happening? xD

Does anyone else have the Admissions Events: No events are scheduled or does it just say no events?

No events are scheduled @renegade23

Can someone call them and find out what’s going on? This is a mess.

@collegesaywht123 I think your post pretty much confirms that at this point of time none of the theories floating around here make any sense.

I swear. This will make us mad. @booyakah

If I may add info for your research, my child was an ED1 acceptance and the housing still says Freshman in NYC fall but not spring.
Good luck ED2 candidates.

@closavia I don’t think calling them will get you any answers. If these changes do indicate something and are not random, they probably won’t tell you. If these changes are just because of a glitch in the system, they probably won’t tell you either. I think everyone can breathe a little easier now since most of the “theories” have fallen apart due to these sudden changes

@remuwannabe I don’t think anyone on this thread has that. Either people have freshmen for both fall and spring or they have nothing under spring and nonrenewable undergraduate under fall.

ALL THEORIES HAVE FALLEN APART. BLESS US.
(I’m over-reacting, I know, but D: )

I think we should all block college confidential and all NYU sites for these 6 days and go into exile.

@renegade23 stop making nonsense conjunctions. With my 2360 i doubt I’m getting into LSP

Calm down, bro o.O @gettingintostern Him/her saying anything or making any predictions won’t get you accepted/rejected, those are just speculations. Simple as that. Dont like what you’re hearing, log off.

@gettingintostern What’s your problem man? All we’re saying is that none of the theories posted here make any sense now given all the sudden changes.

The resetting of the housing changes in ED2 seems to be the equivalent of the resetting of FA changes for this year’s ED1. Once the FA changes were reset, only a very few still had evidence of FA change for ED1. It seemed that NYU admissions finally knew it was a clue to acceptance and found a way to mask the change. But the majority those who had the FA change at any point (reset or not) received acceptances. Some did not see if they had the FA change because for the ones entered 2 weeks before decision day, the changes were only visible for about an hour. I guess they hadn’t know that applicants on CC were aware of the “housing” change for ED1 as it was only called to our attention here on CC the day before decision day. At this point for ED2 applicants, it looks like NYU has found a way to hide the housing changes.

Unless someone else finds another clue other than FA change or Housing change, then I’d have to agree those theories, though they may have held true, cannot be reliable any longer since they are hidden.
I hope this helps to calm anyone’s anxiety.

Started winter break Friday!! Days will get much longer if nothing really preoccupies me.

@gettingintostern Chill out. What a child you are

@remuwannabe
If you go to my page and read my previous comments not too long ago, you can see my stating of the existent three situations that reported by us so far.
If they really try to hide, i don’t think it is very possible that they re-divide us into three different groups.

1.There are people never received any change. (NON-RE)
2.Majority experienced two changes (NON-RE - FRESHMAN - NON-RE)
3.Minority encountered only one. (NON-RE - FERSHMAN, noticeably for both Fall and Spring)

Hope you see what i am saying. Since i am not a tech guy so i am not able to conjecture how the system works. But as far as i am considered, i don’t think it is some sort of trick they are playing with us.

@Chalamagne916 Your observations are correct. However, from previous threads most of the people who got accepted had freshmen for only fall and not spring. Notice how this group doesn’t exist anymore. This is why I think the switching back means nothing.
