<p>@Leilala mine still says no financial aid available. It may be just because I applied to Steinhardt and not CAS as it seems that most of you all did.</p>

<p>@magfri @allisonjadee Correkid sent them an email about it and they said we are being considered for whatever had we put in our application. So I donāt think itās a glitch. His post is on the previous page.</p>

<p>I have to admit, all you guys are probably wonderful, hard working people, but reading all this have been increasing my stress level, my blood pressure probably already exceeded its maximum by this point. But I wouldnāt blame you guys, you guys seem like the students who will end up with a successful life. NYU means so much to me, it symbolizes hope and all the things I have wished for in my life. Words cannot simply explain how much I love NYU. If I get accepted into NYU, I will believe in miracles. The possibility of getting accepted to NYU is whatās keeping me alive. That little speck of hope I still have left is whatās keeping me going. Best of luck to all you guys. Everyone deserves a chance to have their dreams come true. <p>I just called the office of admissions and explained everything thatās been going on. The only thing the guy told me is to ānot look too much into the different wordingsā that the financial aid page displays and that āsince weāre nervous, weāre looking too much into it.ā As for some of the CAS applicants whose information on the application status changed from CAS to LSP, he didnāt have an answer, so for that Iād probably go with what corekid said on the previous page.</p>
<p>I applied ED to CAS and also applied to LSP. I did not apply for financial aid and it says āThere is no financial aid information foundā. Under application status my program still says CAS and my major still says Environmental Studiesā¦ So just to be clear you guys think that because nothing changed it is not looking good for me? My stats are below average. SOS</p>
<p>@ErmegerdCawledge I currently have the same fear as you, thatās why I called. The fact that it didnāt change to LSP isnāt bad, I just think it means theyāre still considering you for CAS. Those who have had the LSP change I believe are mostly being considered for LSP now, and thatās why theirs changed. As for the āno financial aid information found,ā mine still says that as well, and thatās why IāM freaking out, because it seems as if the majority of everyone here has had theirs changed to SOMETHING. But as the guy in the financial aid office told me, Iām just going to try to not worry about it so much. Maybe it is just a ādifferent wordingā (I doubt it) but no hope should be lost until next week I guess.</p>
<p>I didnāt apply for fin aid and mine comes up with a chart that says āNo self-service access for this aid year.ā It also says ā2014ā under aid year on the far left of the chart, then it says in the middle: Institution āNew York University.ā A week ago mine said āNo financial aid information foundā but it was changedā¦WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?? ā¦CONFUSED BECAUSE I DIDNāT EVEN APPLY FOR IT

<p>I donāt want to be negative or anything, but did anyone ever consider that the thing changing to LSP is bad? Because if you didnāt initially apply to LSP, but checked it off on your app, basically it could mean they did not accept you to the original program you applied and are considering you for LSP instead. Iām not sure. Or maybe it means nothingā¦it sounds more like a glitch to me.</p>

<p>yeah thatās true. i sent mine in on nov 5th (i live in new jersey, affected by sandy, didnāt have power for a week) so hopefully thatās why.</p>
<p>@littlemeow that could easily be why. Iām from the northeast as well but I wasnāt badly affected by sandy. I believe they downloaded my app on october 27th</p>
