<p>I just have a quick question for those who are applying to Stern… So under intended area of study, I only had two choices: business and business and political economy.But I thought Stern offered way more than that like finance and global economy. So I was wondering what happened…I’m freaking out so bad right now…please help…!!! thank you!!!</p>
<p>hey guyss, do any of you read the NYU Secrets facebook page? I mean I see a lot of students posting ‘secrets’ like they don’t like it there and stuff like that. Don’t get me wrong I’m in love with NYU but a lot of people seems to hate NYU after studying in NYU… any opinions on that?</p>
<p>I was just reading that page! I’m still not worried though-- NYU is a very unique school and I thought it over for so long that I’m positive it’s the school for me. It just doesn’t work for everyone, and out of tens of thousands of people, there are bound to be a few that don’t like it. Plus, everyone likes to complain-- if you posted something asking who likes/doesn’t like NYU, and EVERYONE that saw it responded, I’m sure there would be more people saying they like it.</p>
<p>I really loved it when i visited, i love it now, probably gonna love it more than ever if i’m accepted… I feel so depressed and desperate when i see people commenting that they hate it so much while there are pathetic people like me dying to get in… Some people don’t realize it’s not only about getting in but also about staying in…</p>
<p>Someone mentioned earlier the NYU precollege program. This past summer I got accepted to the tisch summer in the arts program which is super selective-does anyone think that would help my chances?</p>
<p>@cestlavie3978 there’s BPE which is its own degree and General Business, which has a variety of concentrations within it (finance, accounting, etc). Getting a General Business allows you to choose one of those concentrations.</p>
<p>For ppl who applied to stern did it always say general business or did it says core program at once</p>

<p>I filed my CSS on time but my dad actually submitted his noncustodial profile late… So hopefully that has something to do with it but im so nervous now that everyone’s is changing except mine! Im a weaker applicant too for CAS neural science</p>

<p>Did you only have to fill out the noncustodial if you don’t live with one of your parents or something like that? Because I live with both of my parents and they both provide for me, so I didn’t need to fill out the Noncustodial and just the CSS profile?</p>
