Hi guys! I haven’t posted on here at all yet, but I’ve been monitoring the thread! Just got my acceptance letter from NYU today. I submitted my application right before the deadline, so they’re definitely releasing decisions in random order. I am still waiting to hear back from Columbia and Barnard, but I’m incredibly excited!

Did your email say you were accepted or just to check Albert?
I got an email to check Albert for my decision but I can’t find my decision anywhere. But, FA says I got some scholarship for Tandon. Hopefully that’s a good sign.

@nikpit3 i checked albert at 11:50 a.m. and i found my acceptance on there. i got the actual email about 5 hours later and it said to check albert for my decision!
@lillyJ678564 The CAS is pretty big so I’m sure they accept people with all kinds of stats but:
High School GPA: ~3.7. The poor grades were during one year and I wrote a compelling explanation. Also got straight B’s second-semester senior year
SAT I: 2250
SAT II: Bio M (800), Math II (800), US History (780)
College/Midterm GPA: 4.0
PS. Got in last year as freshman applicant

Accepted today to CAS! I didn’t have any changes on my Albert so for those of you who haven’t, don’t worry!
A few questions, does anyone know when we need to make our deposit by and how much the deposit is? Also, does anyone know if our GPA from our current university transfers to NYU or if we start with a fresh GPA?

@cjeong98 Yep that was me- I applied to Stern. Honestly, I’m banking on an acceptance to Tandon because CAS is almost out of the picture due to the high volume of applicants who’s CAS was their first choice, I don’t think I am that 1% to get into stern, and even though I didn’t mention Tandon in my essay hopefully that see that business is my obvious field of interest. I really don’t think i will get into NYU though. Have you heard of anyone getting into Stern thus far? Was that one person who commented a while back fake or did he legit get into stern?
First of all congratulations to everyone who got accepted! Also, wth is up with Tandon? It’s taking them forever to release decisions.
@terr24lr Yeah that person said that they got in and posted their stats and everything, so I would believe them. Except for that one person on this thread, I haven’t heard of anyone who got into Stern… Let’s just hope for a miracle haha
