@nyu2018transfer I submitted my application to Steinhardt for applied psychology. I applied with 72 total credits. If they give me credit for Developmental, Abnormal and Social Psychology classes outside of elective credits I would surprised, but you never know

@nyu2018transfer I submitted my application on April 1st. We might receive our decisions a little late, but it shouldn’t hurt us.
hi! new here! is anyone else applying to gallatin? i submitted my application on 3/23 and got an email from an NYU admissions person on 4/1 around 9 pm saying that they are in the process of reviewing my transfer application and they needed my college report (heads up: they won’t accept your college report form if you send it to them, it must be sent from a school official). i’m wondering if anyone else got a message similar to this/saying that his or her application is being reviewed?? i feel like the college report wouldn’t really influence the decision very much since they already have my transcript everything, the info on the college report is kinda redundant. do you think i could get my decision pretty soon? i saw earlier in this thread that they might send out decisions this coming friday? i’m so nervous, getting accepted to NYU would be amazing ! good luck to everyone btw
@hope2018transfer hey, that’s just syntax for “we need your college report…” in the process of reviewing your application? ofc they are, they’re reading everyones. i wouldn’t read too much into it besides the fact that a college report is required

@nyu2018transfer That’s awesome. They’re great about accepting credits, I’d just like credits for the classes I took, you know what I mean?
For example: what might happen is instead of my credit for Developmental Psychology transfering to meet the requirement for Developmental Psychology on the degree, they may accept the class credits as psychology elective credits.

Should I be worried about not having received an email yet? They’ve downloaded my application according to Common App, but I haven’t heard from NYU.
@hope2018transfer It is completely possible for you to receive your admission decision by Friday if they do indeed start sending them out that soon. The admissions officer specifically told me that they don’t go over the applications in chronological order of when they were submitted, so that doesn’t matter at all. We could all receive them at any given time whenever they are finished reviewing them.

Lol I’m at a crossroad I’m worried that my app could be apart of the first wave, despite the fact that I submitted it the day before/morning of the deadline, and the admissions just skimmed through it without any careful thought and either tossed it aside, God forbid lol, or accepted me, but at the same time I’d also love to have my decision by tomorrow
