For anyone who is applying to CAS do you know when the last of us will hear our decisions? My checklist on Albert has been complete for about 2-3 weeks now but i haven’t heard anything.

I’m passionate about music business and ultimately want to do entertainment/intellectual property law, so music business would make sense, but I’m a scaredy cat and might want to study something that could be more widely applicable in the workforce ya know? and just pursue music business on my own

It does. Go look on the 2017 thread, from April 22 and onwards… every single person that got their housing changed from Summer 2017 to Fall 2017-18 was accepted.
Could students in NYU register some courses of other colleges/schools besides the school they are accepted?
Do you guys think there will be another wave coming out this week?
I’m guessing Tisch transfers won’t get a decision this week?
Does anyone know when Stern releases decisions?
NYU admission debunked the fa change rumors. and I checked past few years thread, yes the housing change seems like a strong indicator, but there are still people got rejected after seeing the change. Many people who got rejected with their housing/fa change dont come to cc and share their rejections so that’s why many people think that any change on Albert mean something.
That being said, If you didn’t receive any change on your albert, no need to worry, just wait it out. Everyone still waiting, good luck! wish they can send out decisions sooner than later!

I applied to Tisch film and tv production as an external transfer. I’ve applied to NYU twice before and got rejected both times but this time I have a lot more on my resume and a much better GPA. Here are my stats.
I’m currently a sophomore at Emerson College but I am studying abroad this semester in Paris. I got accepted to NYU in Paris last semester but did not attend.
My GPA is 3.75/4.00.
HS GPA was about 3.5-3.6
I worked on two TV shows for my school and was in a screenwriting club, a photographer for a school magazine, and was in a women in film club.
I also have a photography page on Instagram that I run but it doesn’t have a big following at all.
I worked as a PA on a Hollywood movie in the fall and have worked on two commercials for TV. I also have a likely internship with Tribeca Enterprises in the summer and will be able to work on another movie in the fall if I stay in NY.
I submitted a couple of pages of a screenplay I wrote which I am pretty proud of but I don’t think the rest of my essays were that great (not bad though idk its hard to tell).
I don’t know what my chances are of getting in, I am really scared because NYU is my dream school but I’ve gotten rejected twice already so who knows. I applied Febuarary 28th.
Also, I heard that a wave of decisions is coming out April 26th to May 1st, including Tisch decisions, so I think a lot of people will hear then I hope!
I feel like there’s going to be a wave today or thursday (according to past threads). Regardless before may 1st.
