@nyutransfer2018 there most likely is a Facebook group; however college confidential blocks anyone who shares links. I was put in “jail” for mentioning a group on a different platforms. So I guess we’ll all remain disconnected unless someone takes the risk of getting blocked by posting a link.

So, does anyone know if any CAS English majors have heard back yet? I applied in the middle of March and haven’t heard yet. I was accepted to every other school I applied to, but waiting on NYU is killer.

I just called them about how I got the email but nothing on Albert and they said that the system just needs to update and if I check back at 12pm my admissions decision should be available:)
(Sidenote-everyone who I have spoken to in admission has been so kind and understanding)

Just called again. This time they transfered me to someone directly in charge of reviewing files and handling the decisions. So she asked my university ID and comfired that they still haven’t made the final decisions yet. (if you didnt get a decision, your final decisions haven’t come out yet)
They are still reviewing files for many people. They are trying to send out another wave early next week, I should be expecting decisions by then. (or the week after if I have bad luck). So I guess I am gonna stop checking albert every 10 minutes and actually have a life till next week then. Good luck everyone

@tdtdtdtdtdtd “if you didnt get a decision, your final decisions haven’t come out yet” isn’t this fairly obvious? Or am I misunderstanding something?

@iconoclasm I am an English major and have not heard back as of yet! Waiting very impatiently at this point… I haver been accepted to every school I applied to thus far (including BU, UCLA, and Berkeley) but NYU is driving me crazy. I applied March 18th and sent my documents at that time but stye unfortunately lost them, so they didn’t receive the college report until April 20th.

@hlnnlh when did you submit your app? I’m also applying to CAS (for journalism) as a junior and still waiting to hear back! I wasn’t sure if junior transfers were looked at differently or heard back at a different time
what does it mean if the link that said something like “application decision instructions” disappears from your albert application status page?? pretty sure i saw someone post about it earlier
@jrtransfer18 I submitted my app on the last day possible (oops) so april 1 and for a while my documents werent checked off even though I sent them in weeks before. Im not sure how they look at junior transfer but I got an email yesterday and didnt see anything until I checked a few hours ago. good luck!!
