NYU Fall 2020 Transfer

@eligarcia15 if you do not mind me asking, what specifically did they request from you today?

@marlon01 no, not at all! They just requested an explanation on why I had a gap from high school to my enrollment into college. As soon as I sent it in, my checklist disappeared two hours after.

@eligarcia15 Oh ok great thanks. I was just wondering if it was a midterm report but I see now thanks

@marlon01 did they request a midterm report for you?

does NYU request a midterm report from everyone?

@Sampats no, it is not required. I believe they will reach out to you individually if they would like a midterm report from you.

@Sampats yes they did. They requested it yesterday

does it mean anything when they request a midterm report?

@waytoonervous probably nothing major. maybe if there was a discrepancy in your information or if your GPA wavered over time, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing if they ask for it

I don’t so since they never ask me

does anyone know how long after your checklist dissapears you expect to get a decision? Mine just dissapeared so hopefully I will get a decision in the next wave, but we shall see.

my checklist also disappeared today I guess we will see.

@nbrewer mine has been gone for 2+ weeks and I don’t have a decision yet haha

My checklist is still there but everything has a green checkmark next to it. I called NYU admissions and asked about whether or not it was supposed to disappear or if I had to turn in additional documents and they told me they had everything so I’m really not too sure what the disappearance means… but based on last years thread I don’t think it means anything?

@dood523 I believe the disappearance means that they started reviewing your application

Can someone confirm?

This could be true. My checklist disappeared a few weeks ago and they asked me for a midterm report on March 19th. Could be a sign they’re reviewing my app now but I’m not sure

any Econ majors?

So just to be clear, not everyone was asked by admissions to send in a Midterm Report correct?
