I’ve been accepted to CAS yesterday.
Right now my check list has “Confirm Your Enrollment (Updates within 24 hours)” field.
Does this mean that I have to confirm my enrollment within 24 hours? On the website it says 2 weeks from when the decision is posted.
Are decisions only being released on Fridays, or is it throughout the week?
@Worldchamp24 had your checklist disappeared before you got the decision? I’m also applying to SPS as an international student.
Do you have to accept the admission within 24 hrs? or 2 weeks?
@Skhar012 @allora55 I think it means the website will update with your choice in 24 hours (as in it shows up on the page), I’m almost positive you just need to respond by 2 weeks
yeah like i wont know if i’ve been accepted to other schools until may and nyu isn’t my first choice, so if i dont accept now can i accept later? this is my first time going through the application/decision process so i dont know what to do
if i accept now and another school accepts me in may with a better financial aid package can i back out of nyu? how does that work? i feel like two weeks is just not enough especially given the circumstances everyone is in right now
Well, you’d be violating the term of the offer/acceptance that you withdraw other applications for that to happen, as discussed before, but in that event you’d withdraw from NYU and then enroll at the college you prefer. You will of course lose your deposit at NYU.
@dood523 My transcript disappeared before my decision. I am an external transfer from Temple University. I still did not receive my financial aid package. If anyone has received their package, please let me know.

Click the Aid Year for the Financial Aid Links you wish to view
Then I click on the aid year link button in the pop up and it opens up another window that says “financial aid summary” but It says I am not authorized.

@NYUHATESME My checklist disappeared as soon as my last material was received, which was my standardized test scores. It disappeared around April 4th and I received my decision on April 10th.
it’s not gonna get checked off until they get official transcripts. I asked them about it after mine wasn’t getting checked off (I uploaded it myself). They said they will check it off after they get an official one from school and not to worry because they have enough information to make a decision with my unofficial one.
Did decisions come out 1 day a week last year or were they pretty scattered?
@dood523 that’s what it looks like so far. They released the first wave last Friday, and the second wave just this past Friday. I am guessing that’s what the pattern is going to be.
