HI! Im a second year student trying to transfer to NYU from a community college in California. I have a 3.84 and I applied to CAS as a Public Policy major. I have over 60 units already, so Im not submitting any standardized test scores. Im on the deans list and I put down a bunch of experiences that I thought would be helpful. Does anyone know what my chances are looking like to get in for fall 2020?

@mmcowart I just combined your statement saying a Friday in early May and might inference that it will be after May 5th. I applied as a transfer to Tisch IMA. Crossing my fingers because thus far been rejected by my other transfer options
@nifty88 ohh okay gotcha. i am so on edge Im reading into every message on this board, maybe more than i should. I am in the same boat. really need this acceptance. we got this!!
Tisch people: if you have any of your artistic work on instagram, youtube, twitter, vimeo, website, etc…please share a link to your work! I know we all have lots of anxiety as we wait for NYU. I think sharing our artistic work with everyone on here may be a cool way to relieve stress and spread some joy.

Alright so I emailed the NYU admissions office requesting a extension on my deadline and they sent me a form to fill out via a link. Apparently they will look over my request and notify me through email later.

I got admitted last Friday as well! I was wondering if either of you have gotten your financial aid package yet? I’m extremely worried about not getting any aid and we only have a little over a week to accept our decisions!
Also, regarding the Transfer Credit Report, how many units were considered for transfer? Mine only totals to 25, and I’ve scheduled a meeting with David Sugarman from Gallatin to go over it once again. He said that he’d be happy to meet with students to go over credit evaluations prior to enrolling

@kaon Can you please update us when you hear back from them? I’m still waiting on my financial aid package and that’s the only thing that’s keeping me from enrolling right now ?I know that we should be getting our packages a week from when we received our decisions, so I’m thinking that I should be getting mine by this Friday at the latest!

I haven’t received my financial packet yet and I’m getting real worried since we will have around a week to accept their offer. Hopefully, they’ll release it this Friday!
Most of my credits were transferred, so it sucks that not all of them got credited.
From the letter, it looks like international students that didn’t apply for financial aid will have more chances to enter since NYU needs to fix their revenue shortfall.
It feels bad knowing that I belong to that category, and yet, since I haven’t received a decision yet and I applied to CAS, I will very, very likely get rejected 
stop spreading the panic for other CAS applicants… just because we didn’t hear back yet doesn’t mean all other waves will be rejections.
Y’all Tisch is definitely being reviewed and most likely released this week. I uploaded the wrong transcript and I got an email saying they were going through my application and noticed my mistake. I sent the correct one and he said that I would hear back really soon.
@kdalida Thank you! And I’m glad to hear that your credits transferred over. Hopefully, I’ll get to sort mine out soon. Also, what are you thinking of creating your concentration around?
@kychi19 I’m leaning more towards business, media, and math. I’m not completely firm on my concentration though.

Hi guys, I’m a Liberal Art major applying for cs of cas, I’ve never taken a cs course before or any advance math. Does that means I have little to no chance to get in? And do they have prerequisites for cs?
