So, basically I chickened out and I didnt apply to NYU early decision and instead did regular. I really really want to go there now, I just feel it'll be the right school for me and having visited I know I like the school already. My grandpa also went to NYU and he isnt doing well at all these days and he always wanted one of his grand children to attend NYU and now I feel like i MUST attend. Do you guys think there is anything I can do to help my chances? Should i write a letter and explain to them something about how i had wanted to apply early and didnt ( obviously i would be a lot more creative then what im writing now!) My stats aren't exactly NYU material, but idk i thought maybe i would have a chance if i had applied ED... im sorry if this makes no sense.
For those interested i applied to Steinhardt with a major in elementry school education

Yeah, you can write them- I think it’s a good idea. But make it short/to the point.

I also want to show my interest to NYU Is it going to be too late to do it now?

Do a search on CC,they do not like any extra stuff to read except what was asked of you in the application. This has been discussed in the past. You can always post the question in their online admission forum. The moderators are pretty quick to get back to you.
