Hey guys, I’ve been contacted for the HEOP program. does anyone know how theypick the people who are eligible? (I didn’t think I would be considered bc my grades aren’t that bad and a little above the financial criteria). Also, how does the interview go? Mine is this week and I’m a bit nervous. :-S
@qvpo87 nyu heop accept student who can’t get into nyu under regular admission. Also ur parents income must be under the financial criteria to be considered. It doesn’t matter if it’s just a little above. U will be ask to bring ur parents tax income and other financial materials to the info session. During the interview, they u basic question like " why nyu?"

Omg I am afraid tho cause its really scary two of my friends got rejected for ED2
@fahi12 oh sorry to hear that. Do u know that their stats r. Btw, I apply in nov, and I still haven’t got anything from nyu.
They have lily 92 or 93 GPA and about 1700 sat and one of them has 24 act. Plus one of my friends brother graduated from nyu last year.
They both applied to polytech
@fahi12 they both have great gpa. I seriously don’t know what kind of students nyu wants for heop. Did they both go the info session
