NYU is all i want...any tips?

any admissions tips as far as NYU CAS is concerned?

i am a junior. i have a rigorous courseload, a 4.5 weighted GPA and i have not taken the SAT. i have taken classes, and based on my practice tests i'm hoping for over a 2200. i have sat IIs of bio: 690 and world history: 680.

Doing alright. :D Keep up the good work. Don't let senioritis screw your GPA over.

make your enthusiasm come across in your essays that you will have to write when you apply. not in a cheesy way, but in an honest way. you've still got a year, so make sure you keep your grades up! looks like you're doing really good so far, but cas can be tough since so many people apply. good luck!

My first tip would be that you have a reasonable list of colleges to apply to, where you can be happy. NYU is selective, some colleges more than others, and no one should count on getting in. I would work hard at prepping for the SATs, if I were you, especially since both of your SATIIs are below 700.

Do ED, don't ask for financial aid. NYU will bend over backwards to let you in.

NYU is need blind so it doesn't matter if you ask for fin. aid or not.

yea, NYU is need blind

Yeah man, they don't even look at the people who need money. jk jk

EDIT: Apply ED, don't apply to Stern.
