So here’s a question: If I submitted my FAFSA late to them, would I be unable to predict with FA if I get in or not?

@mashimashi8 I agree.

But I just saw my FA status changed and it was the greatest feeling. They really have to fix this heartbreaking 2X3 chart issue, it’s a disappointing way to assume you got in. Or to assume you didn’t according to a miserable “No Financial Information Found.”

@wannago231, im not really sure honestly because some people didnt even apply for FA and still had the 2014 access award not available change

but honestly these changes might not mean anything because this theory is being formed from the early decision pool and we’re in the regular decision pool and they have more time in their hands with our applications

@noh338 i know how you feel, best thing to do is not think about it and not to get your hopes up,
but dont worry, i believe we will be happy wherever we go! and results will be in tomorrow :)

Just got an email. Rejected.

I’m kind of surprised, but after that blog post they wrote yesterday, I kind of wanted no part of NYU.

Best of luck to everyone else!

A friend of mine just got a rejection email from NYU… she applied regular. Seriously. Have they started sending the emails out?

REJECTED… But I was prepared because my FA didn’t change to 2014 award access. I guess the change is a good indicator then?

@collegebound did you have the award access not available w/o the 2014?

Oh my God guys I’m shaking hahahaha

Just got rejected and I HAD the 2014 Award Access… WE WERE WRONG

@fankini: I’m sorry to hear that but wow seriously, that’s a groundbreaking counter-theory… NOW I’m freaking out lol. I got the 2014 Award access not available and my confidence just went straight downhill. Hahaha. Anyways, if you don’t mind answering, which school did you apply to?

Guys, are we all receiving e-mails at different times? I’m in the Tri-State area…are any of you who have heard back also in that area?

Rejected. Frankly, not sure if it really is worth the debt students get in. Not eating sour grapes, just sayi

I applied to Tisch.

Albert hasn’t even updated for me and I got rejected. I have to admit: it sucks that I had my hopes up after getting the 2014 FA change.

okay so 2014 access not available means rejection?

I applied to Tisch, too, but it was just for fun. I really want to get into the School of Arts and Sciences or Stern. Is it possible they might accept me to either of those after they (probably) reject me from Tisch?

I expressed interest in the application when they asked if I wanted to be considered for other schools.

are people just getting letters or a site where they can access to view their decision?

the people who got accepted/rejected can you tell us what your FA was?

did anyone with the 2x3 table with the 2014 in it get rejected so far?

It obviously doesn’t mean anything. as they said on the blog. I guess it has just turned out to be CC rumors. You’ll have to wait till you get your decision by email
