Wait, has anyone on this thread received an acceptance yet?

Anyone has got decision yet!? Or will all decisions be released tomorrow?

I did not check, and doesn’t matter now. Hope the people got in enjoy the school and go there.

Also, what blog are you guys talking about? I would like to read it.

oh, Reader13, You seem to have received an offer from ur favorite college :P

It’s the NYU admissions blog

Sorry, it’s just that a girl I know who has much lower grades than those who usually apply got in. However, I did get into Fordham!

@Reader13 - how much is lower?

Reader13: You don’t know what was in her application. NYU does holistic admissions. they take many factors into account in their decision. Good luck to you

Like she rarely got second honors lower. She’s not a hard worker at all. Yes, I am aware that there could have been something in her application, but I doubt it. Anyone, sorry for bringing a sour spirit here.

I just got my decision for NYU via email…
(I’m an international btw)

Anyone from California hear back from NYU? If it takes longer to arrive does that mean it’s more likely a large envelope?

oh,well college admission is so unpredictable. every AO is different and can take different aspects more into account. BTW, Congrats on your offer!:)

Can anyone put up what the email says?
im curious. yet to receive an email

Thanks, just need to scrape the cash together to go! In all honesty Fordham was my too choice for realistic choices.

I didn’t receive an email, but my NYU Albert says “Admit Type: New Freshman”

I don’t remember if this was here prior to today.

wawawaji, where r u from? i am fron Asia, but have not heard yet.

@triplenick - yeah mines say that too but i dont remember seeing it

No, it was there when you applied. I just checked and my Albert says the same thing.

I’m pretty sure Admit type: New Freshman has always been there. People really should stop speculating and wait a tiny bit longer for a concrete decision. There’s no reason to get your hopes up or down based on a slight wording change.
