NYU (NY) RD 2017 Discussion

^ in a heartbeat. NYU is my number 1 school but the wait has made incredibly anxious. Unfortunately, with an efc of 0, I don’t think I’ll realistically be attending anytime soon…

@Mamamiannyu i applied under heop to go to the CAS

Has anyone had this change happen that has applied to tisch?

@mcskillitcat
right there with you

NYU is my realistic dream school. I’m obsessed with it. Except, my FA status didn’t change :frowning: even though I didn’t apply for FA.

ahhhh so the change in FA status is a pretty definite thing? NYU is my dream school but I haven’t seen a change in my status and I applied on 12/27. :frowning: I guess this means I am gonna get rejected

There’s still plenty of time for it to change ^^

@Mrowsey
My FA status changed and I applied to Tisch. No idea if the status change has to do with individual schools like Tisch since I believe you can be admitted to NYU but not Tisch.

No change yet and this was/is a match school for my S! Wish I didn’t know about this hint.

Question. So I just checked my Albert account and my status has changed to award access not available. However, I was just accepted to NYUSH the other day. I am also still waiting to hear back from Stern. So does this change in FA have to do with the fact that I was just accepted to NYUSH or could it maybe mean Stern??

My financial aid status changed! I still don’t want to believe in this theory though because it freaks everyone out… Don’t let it bother you! We will all find out on April 1!

@audrey13 Did yours change today?

@tux Same. Only I didn’t get accepted to NYUSH, so I’m hoping this means Stern.

^You got SH already?

Im into shanghai

@GGekko yes.

Would this change happen if you did not apply for finicial aid

From what I’ve heard, I think it does

my FA message changed, and I applied for stern!

No change here yet. Have any Gallatin applicants had their FA status change yet?
