did anyone have their financial aid status change who did NOT apply for aid?

applied to nyush and nyuny without aid, but my fa status did change.

@hlst95 did you get accepted tu NYUSH? what does your FA status say now?

My FA status changed to “ACCEPT AID YEAR TO VIEW” is this what it says when it’s a clue for possible acceptance??? I have been reading this tread all week and was nervous. Mine just changed today, I applied to Steinhardt, but also to CAS- if someone could let me know. THANKS! and GOOD LUCK!

I didn’t apply for aid, didn’t receive aid, but mine changed to Award Access Not Available 2014 a few weeks before decisions.

I was accepted EDII.

Mines changed to award access not available.

So can someone please let me know if this could mean acceptance. My FA now says:

"Select Aid Year to View (but nothing is there to select)

There is no financial aid information found."

Just like that. This seems to be different from some others I read. If anyone else has this or knows what it means- please let me know. Thanks.

I’m starting to get worried…mine’s still “There is no financial aid information found”.

@jackz99 You are not the only one. I have been checking the Albert since I heard of that theory. But it has never changed. I am pretty sure that I will be rejected.

Can someone post a picture of what that Financial Aid change looks like?

For those who don’t have a change, I wouldn’t worry yet. It is still over two weeks away and they got 1000s of apps to review. I’m sure they aren’t finished with all of them yet. Mine changed, but says nothing like others posted, doesn’t say anything about 2014, and the “information not found” part is still there as well, along with the other “select year to access.” If anyone else has the same, I’d like to know. GOOD LUCK!

See my post above. Although mine is a bit different from others I’ve read.

@indepcc mine says the same thing… I really don’t think I would be rejected… hopefully it means nothing

I think the change is supposed to look like this:
http://oi46.■■■■■■■.com/2rm7gpt.jpg

@indepcc - the page you are describing is what others (and I) have described as “Pre-change”. The post-change contains mainly same info but is in a spreadsheet format and shows 2014 data. @bowties your link isn’t working. There is a good link to the post-change somewhere in this or another thread…sorry and good luck to us all!!!

That’s true, but unlike ED, they had your application for at least three months. Plus, NYU traditionally sends applications via e-mail three days before (March 29) we are supposed to hear back. But I hope that they are still making changes because mine still did not change yet.

@mamamianyu: His link is working and that’s the change

i have the same thing for Michigan but not for NYU. any1 knows if it means anything for Michigan?

Me to I have it on Michigan’s portal but not on NYU.

It doesn’t mean anything for Michigan. I got the change for NYU like two days ago. Don’t lose hope guys, there’s still plenty of time for them to change it.
