NYU Poly Transfer

Hey Everybody,

So since getting accepted into NYU Poly yesterday, I have lost a fair amount of interest in it after seeing how much it appears to be separated from NYU both geographically and socially. Wish I had applied to comp. sci. in CAS instead, as that seems much more appealing. Not sure if there's anything I can do at this point, but if any NYU students had anything to say regarding Poly or in-school transferring, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

CS in comp sci is better tho. You can still go to the main campus and enjoy the activities there

Actually, employment chances and salaries after graduation are much better with Poly. Check it out:

I’m got accepted to CAS Comp Sci and super pumped about it, but will be looking into Poly at some point, possibly for grad school, as a result of the above info.

Thanks guys, I saw the positive praise for Poly online too, but to be completely honest, I just don’t think I would enjoy my time at Poly. From talking to people currently in the program, it seems like this is a school for people extremely dedicated to their studies. Not that CAS isn’t, but I just feel like being in CAS, I’d have more time to interact with other students from other majors, and would enjoy my college experience more.
