NYU Poly vs Rutgers Honors College Engineering?

I’m deciding between the two. I would really like to live in a city and have access to a lot of social things to do. I would prefer to live in New York and not live in New Jersey for 4 more years. But Rutgers is far cheaper, and I’ve heard many bad things about poly.

I’m also debating between switching to pre-med too, so I don’t know how exactly that would change my choice.

The cost for me is ~15000 (Rutgers) vs ~51000 (NYU)

You’ll get the same education in both, so go with Rutgers and pocket the $120k difference over 4 years. You’re still not that far from the city to drive or take the train in.

Definitely Rutgers. They are comparable programs, so spending that much extra is probably not worth it.
