I was wondering abt NYU's policy on SAT II tests. Do they require that you take them or do they just recommend it? If they recommend it does that mean you'll have a better chance of getting in?

Mystic,

I used to work in the NYU admissions office my soph. and junior years.

The SAT II tests are technically not required, though just about everyone who applies to NYU takes them (NYU reccomends 3-writing and 2 others of your choice..one should preferably be math). So the best bet is to take them if you plan to apply so you don't stick out like a sore thumb.

Good luck!

-NYU class of '00

Since Im a junior and taking the new SAT with writing included should I still take the SAT II writing test?

no, sat2 writing is being deleted after december

Could you look at my stats and see where I stand in getting accepted?

Thanks
