I received a $26,000 scholarship from NYU for CAS.

How much will my estimated cost of attendance be then?
I'm having trouble finding estimates.

Go to NYU’s website and look at what they charge for tuition, fees and room and board. Total that up, and then subtract the amount of your scholarship. Then figure that there will probably be a 3% to 6% increase over that for next year.

As KKmama says, the NYU website will have the lists of charges for tuition, fees, room and board. Those will be close unless they’ve not yet been updated for the next year. Some NYU schools cost more than others, they vary in fees, so you have to look for your school. If you are living there, it will depend on room assignment and that specifc cost which you’ll get later. Board, is determined by the plan you choose. Don’t know what choices you have. The rest is determined by where you live, what supplies you will need, your actual transportation costs, what you need for personal expenses, what you actually end up spending on books. Some averages are posted, but some kids exceed those numbers and some do better.

With Cost of Attendance roughly at $66,500 - you will have to come up with $40,000 plus every semester or over $160,000 after 4 years. Think carefully about accepting this offer if you have to finance this. Your debt with interest will in be excess of $200,000 - quite the millstone.

It’ll probably be around $35,000. YOur scholarship is pretty generous (NYU is known to be stingy so that amount’s not bad) but the school doesn’t meet need… so don’t get into debt for more than your allotted $5,500 in federal loans.
