NYU Tisch School of the Arts (Film Applicants)

Hey everyone, was just browsing through and couldn't find a topic for NYU's film applicants. Anyway, just wanted to create a place to share film submissions.

Here is my short film titled: Spotlight:

(This is a mobile link,if it doesn't work, just type in my full name Andrew Fanchini in the search bar and click on it. It is titled Spotlight USC/NYU application)

Thanks for watching and hope to get some feedback. Good luck to all applicants!

Holy **** I got goose bumps watching this thing. You’ve got that talent mang. I think they’re crazy to not accept you.

Btw, I got accepted ED II for Cinema Studies. So, hopefully, I could see you around.

But, seriously, though. I think you’re talented. I’m honestly envious.

You literally just made my whole entire day! I can’t thank you enough for the compliment bro. It took me a bit of work to make (and by a bit, I mean a lot). I had to rent out my school’s whole cafeteria to film this, for 3 nights. It was fun though, quite amazing actually. I hope to God I get accepted…the competition is though.

great job man
I am a kid who wanted to be a film director too

:)

Thanks bro, I appreciate it, good luck with your endeavors!

@fankini Wow! You did a fantastic job! I loved the shot of sweeping up the roses, the music overlay was perfect, and the ending was great! Whatever happens with the college apps, know that you have great talent and continue to pursue your dreams. Best of luck!

First off, thank you so much for making my entire day! I really appreciate it! I can only hope for the best, so whatever happens, I will never give up. I was very happy with the outcome, but now that I watch it again, I can think of shots that could have been better. I do personally love the roses, not to mention the ending is my favorite.

My financial aid status hasn’t changed yet. I’m worried…sigh…
