Hey guys! I applied to Musical Theatre. And I was wondering has anyone else that applied for a scholarship and got one? And what was your parents income to get it? Sorry for the personal questions. I just need this full scholarship

Hi, My daughter applied to the drama in Dubin Program and got in this year. We applied for a scholarship but did not get it. I receive social security only and nothing else. That is my only income. I am a single parent. Did anyone get a scholarship?

My S applied for the program and scholarship… he got wait listed and in the email they stated that no wait listed applicants would get the scholarship so this program is out for him this summer. I would love to see someone post on here who actually received the scholarship. My thoughts are that there ate VERY few who get it.

I didn’t get one either. Apperantly they only give out full scholarships so they’re unable to give out many.

Hello! I got in for the photography and imaging program for this summer! i didn’t get a scholarship. i live with my single mom and older brother and my mom makes less than 15,000 dollars a year and we didn’t get any financial help. i don’t know how in the world i’m going to manage going because of it.

update: Tisch emailed me again and said there was a mistake with my last notification email and that my scholarship application has been approved and now I have a fully payed tuition!

I know this is really late but I applied for the film program for this summer and I just received the notification email today. I have been waitlisted. I really wanted to do this program and I’m really passionate about film. I’m hoping to get off the waitlist and accepted by mid/late March. However, the email said that waitlisted students will not have a chance to receive scholarships. I’m just wondering if you could tell me more about the program, did you know any students who were on the waitlist. Is it worth the $10k? And, are you still in touch with some of the other students from the program Because even if I do get in, I don’t know if I would be able to afford it. Do you think that if I do, and I email their special programs office, they would take my economic situation into consideration and possibly offer me a scholarship or a work studies program?
Hi. Just curious. Are you a sophomore or junior?
@kactuskim I’m a junior. But I’m currently taking spring courses at Tisch and my professor told me that the idea of juniors having more of a leniency is a rumor and plus, I was waitlisted! So I called them to inquire if I could do a work study program and they told me that spots were freeing up and that I will most likely get in, in March.
So I would suggest you to call them and inquire about what your daughter’s apps were lacking and improve them for next year!
