Hi! Hello.
I’m currently in my second quarter of my first year (i have 35+ credits) at UCR, and I am trying to transfer into NYU. I want to go into their Clive Davis Program. My GPA isn’t as good as it can be (because in all honesty, I wasn’t prepared for the course load but i have improved upon that greatly and my GPA will improve in the coming quarter). While I understand that a lot of this is up to chance and luck, what can i do to improve my chances of getting in?
while my GPA isn’t very…good, i have good extra-curriculars and i’m an excellent writer, so the personal statements are no problem.
i know that i am not the “ideal” student, but as it is I cannot afford someone to “groom” me for transferring or something similar. I would really appreciate suggestions!!
