<p>bu gives me 26000 scholarship and 12500 on grant and I will need 23500 from my parents</p>
<p>ucsd gives no scholarship but 27500 on grant and aides and I will need 6000 from my parents</p>
<p>my parents can only give me appox. 8000 per year and the rest I have to go to private banks for student loan.</p>
<p>what would you do? does nyu or bu worth the money?</p>

<p>One thing for you to look at is if the NYU and BU grants are renewable or just for your Freshman year. Will your parents income change in the next four years? If so, you may lose any need-based aid.
I am assuming that you are in-state for UCSD. Who will be paying for your round-trip airfare?
In my opinion, UCSD represents both a better value and a safer investment.
You can always go to Boston of NYC for grad school, or live there after your undergrad.</p>
<p>UCSD especially if your parents aren’t paying for cost of attendance past UCSD fully (coming from a BU student.)</p>
