<p>I got an email from the admissions director saying that were was a position available for my major that was open at Tisch. They said they would be sending a package </p>
<p>Finally, it was worth the 2 month wait. </p>

<p>Congrats to those accepted! A family member of mine got into Steinhardt today off of the wait list. She received a large UPS package around 5pm today with a folder that included acceptance and housing information. She has two weeks from today to accept the spot and until June 1st to fill out the housing application. She did not receive any email or phone communication from NYU.</p>

<p>I got a call after school today from the admissions office. They told me they have decided to go to the waitlist and that I had been accepted off the waitlist! They are sending info within the week but I think they only called because I live so far away- in Wisconsin. Good luck to all! Your acceptance letter could be in the mail!</p>

<p>They actually have started the process. I got into NYU Stern today as of 9 a.m. eastern. I may not have any posts so you don’t have to believe me. I have been watching this forum and figured you would want to know. The lady I talked to said I was one of very few, at least for Stern anyway. I recieved a phone call because I live in Iowa and she told me I would recieve a package next week containing the details of admission as well as financial aid. I have 2-3 weeks to respond from the time I recieve my package, but I’m definately attending NYU.</p>

I just called nyu undergrad admissions and spoke to a student ambassador and when I asked when we’ll know whether or not we’ve been taken off the waitlist, they replied that we’ll know by next week.</p>
