@omojimin actually the May 16th update refers to when they plan to have all transfer admissions decisions done. It has nothing to do with the waitlist.

If they are actually sending interest emails/acceptances in waves for the first round (very doubtful) could they be doing it alphabetically? Everyone who received an interest email what’s the first letter of your last name? Doesn’t seem very plausible but I know some schools have their waitlisted applicants organized alphabetically.

@marbar99 R is the first letter. They’re not gonna go alphabetically or any other order for limited spots. They’re gonna do who they want the most first.
I got the email a few days ago and now am able to access & fill out my housing application, but I never received an official acceptance email or financial aid. I can’t even consider NYU without knowing about financial aid.
@soulpup does it say fall 2017 for your housing?
