I got an interest email Monday at 12pm est for Tisch (film&tv) last name B and my housing portal just updated to “Academic Year 2017-2018” and “New York City/Freshman”. Still can’t access decision letter on Albert.
@nyc20grl I’m not sure what screen you’re looking at … but I’m actually in the housing application. All of my personal information is pre-loaded. I am able to go through each step of the application process. Is everyone able to do this? Where are you seeing “non-renewable”?
At this point I’ve come to except that I’m not getting in. If I do with good financial aid that’ll great but at least rn I have a great school to go to

Honestly, I have no idea if it even means anything. Is everyone able to get into their housing application and start filling it out? I got the email a few days ago, but have not gotten any definitive acceptance notification or financial aid offer. So this housing thing probably doesn’t mean anything…

Earlier I could not access Albert’s decision letter. I just tried now and I was able to see the old letter about being on the waitlist. Nothing new. I did not put in for housing so I do not see any of the information regarding housing.

@nyc20grl Mine does not say “non-renewable” … not sure why … it just says “Academic Year 2017-2018 - Freshman” then under Term Classification, it says New York City Freshman … probably means nothing … ugh
Really wish they hadn’t sent emails out earlier but now leave people wondering …
Even mg portal says 05/10/2017 but decision letter is the same old waitlist letter from March 31 st

@RheaSh That portal date always reads the current date … I used to think it might mean something, but it changes to the current date every day …

If I indicated that I didn’t need any financial aid in my application, would it make sense that I didn’t get an email about financial aid? My housing portal says Summer 2017 and I didn’t get an email but I have been talking to the track coach about running for NYU so I thought I had a shot at getting in…
