Ochem on Fall 11 as a Tranfer?

So i would like to take ochem this upcoming fall but how hard it will be to enroll in the class if our enrollment time doesnt start until mid August? how soon will they fill up? do i even got a chance?
I need chem 140A to take all my other classes, the only other classes i can get are Math 20C and chem 100A i think. Maybe phys 2B but i did not wanted to take it during Fall yet.
Will i be able to enroll on this classes? I know chem 100A fills up really quickly so that one will be almost impossible to get

140a will probably be easy for you to get in. It will be fall quarter so they will have many different teachers (2-4). Id check webreg now but its after midnight so nothing works on the website lol. You might have to waitlist, but tooons of people drop ochem, especially 140A because they dont really get it, or have never really had to study yet for classes. I cant really comment on 100A, but you can get into 20c or psys 2b if you wanted to. Those three classes in themselves would be a pretty heavy load for a first quarter for just getting oriented to ucsd and its classes/life. If you had any ge classes still you could always try to get into those.

Thank you so much for your input =] i do not have any other GE to take other than math and physics. All of my classes are upper division and fr my college i only need 2 more upper division classes outside my major and one has to b writing (marshall) so ill try to get into those classes, hopefully i can =]

Also lets say i want an ochem class but i wat a particular professor and the waitlist is two long, can i waitlist 2 different ochem classes?

theres 4 classes in fall. youll be with fine professors with most of them. Oconnor and Hoeger are my personal favorite teachers when i took the classes, Ternansky will prepare you very well, but you might want to try and avoid Whitesell. You cant waitlist two professors at once, so youll have to pick one and stick with it. Im sure you wont have too much of trouble, all of the classes are in peterson 108 which is one of the biggest lecture halls they have.
