For the writing question that started with “Comprising eight stories” that had answers like [author]'s novel, what were the other choices? Was there a choice that began with the title of the novel? Because that’s what I remember picking.

I remember choosing the answer that had the title, then the author’s name. I felt like the novel was made up of the stories, so the novel would therefore be the subject to follow

well––– I said the one that was like “blahblah, Authorname’s booktitle blah blah”, so which ever one that was.

Same ^

Honestly, I can barely remember the questions right now. Lol

It was not the one starting off with the books title. That one wasn’t a complete sentence if you read it out loud. It was B, not E.

hi guys

on ignorance passage, was the answer with infinite multitude correct?

@hanapiano

do u remember anything about the question…i forgot it

and on the oprah passage, did u guys get an answer of something like “to support a claim made in the first sentence”?

@swerve22

i think the question was like, “what’s the meaning of the stars?”

and yeah, i got what u got for that question (but i mentioned that before)

unfortunately, some people think it’s different?

@hanapiano still really isn’t coming to me but i think i remember putting something down about infinity so thats probably what i put

and oh ok…well hopefully we’re right! I’m really banking on not missing more that 4 reading and its looking bleak, considering i know i missed 3 already :/

Ok im back

Just wondering which CR questions had nostalgic and melancholy in the answer choices?

@hanapiano

Did you get satirize a traditional view as one of your answers or mock a serious concern?

@JackTC i dont think hanapiano’s answer is going to change after a day :)

did any of you get “had a problem with the campus police” or something like that for one of your answers?

The “infinite multitude” answer was correct. The question asked for the meaning of the snowflake simile.

@JackTC I am fairly certain that the mock a serious concern choice was correct. The “view” in “satirize a traditional view” is common people taking the role of reporters. It’s not a traditional view because it only began recently. Mock a serious concern is correct because the rest of the passage talks about the problems of allowing common people to be the sole source of news. The concern is mocked because the last sentence in the first (or second?) paragraph is something sarcastic about how great it would be for average citizens to be journalists.

@rescore

I think the “traditional view” is the view that only professionals can be journalists. This is not a “recent” view. I also think that he is not as much mocking it as criticizing this view by saying “So what if…”

I got to stop arguing about this question lol.

Yeah, our score is now unchangeable now so whatever, right? :p

were there three d’s in a row in writing?

Yeah I remember there being some weird bubbles on the writing section. And yes I do remember there being three D’s toward the end of the last error IDs.

what was the answer to the question about the free speech zones? was it “campus police”?
